Urad Dhuli, also known as Split Black Gram or Urad Dal, is a popular legume in Indian cuisine, derived from the black urad bean (Vigna mungo). The term “dhuli” refers to the fact that the outer black skin of the bean has been removed, leaving the white or beige-colored split pulses.
